When: 2026-05-18 · anytime (indoor)
Plant 3 bone-dry with one leaf casualty; Plants 1+2 also need standard 2-3-week deep soak cycle
Watering regime
Summer: every 2-3 weeks (succulent, store water in leaves)
Cooler: every 4-6 weeks (nearly dormant in winter)
Method: Stick finger 5 cm down — water ONLY if completely dry. Over-watering is the #1 snake plant killer (root rot).
Source: Tap OK (snake plants tolerant); rainwater bonus

Plant 3 bone-dry, one leaf already died/detached (visible in floor photo)
→ Deep soak in 2 rounds (300 mL → 15 min wait → 300-500 mL more) for proper rehydration of hydrophobic dry soil. Monitor for new leaf loss over 1 week. If new leaves yellow or fall → likely root rot from prior overwater cycle (not just dehydration) → inspect roots + repot in fresh succulent mix.
